Aim and Scope

This journal addresses emerging trends in research and development in Aquatic Biology and Fisheries, providing a forum for the publication of original and high-quality papers. Topics include aquatic biology, fisheries science, aquaculture, socio-economics related to ecosystem services, bioactive compounds from aquatic resources, and the social benefits of aquatic sciences.

The scope encompasses biology and ecology of both inland and marine ecosystems, as well as multidisciplinary linkages of fisheries in the context of sustainable development. Both theoretical and practical studies are welcome, including laboratory research and field experiments. The journal also covers conservation of aquatic ecosystems and exploitable living resources. Review articles and book reviews are accepted.

The objective is to promote multidisciplinary research in aquatic sciences and fisheries science for the benefit of academicians, fisheries scientists, aquatic biologists, policy makers, citizen scientists, and legislators.

Publication Frequency

Bi-annual publication. All archival volumes are accessible on the website.

Reprints

A PDF copy of the paper and one hard copy of the journal are provided to the corresponding author upon publication. No additional reprints are issued.
